The challenge

Ranges sit outside town, where mobile internet is weak or absent. Results were written on paper, typed into a spreadsheet in the evening and totalled by hand — hence the mistakes, the arguments, and protocols competitors only saw a day after the match.

What we did

A mobile app that needs no network

The judge enters results on a phone and everything lands in a local database on the device. When the signal returns, a sync queue pushes the data to the server on its own, and running it again duplicates nothing.

Scores calculated as you go

Totals are computed automatically from hits, penalties and time, so the table is ready the moment the last shot is fired.

A match builder

Disciplines, stages, target types, teams and competitors are configured per match instead of being hard-coded.

Protocols nobody retypes

Results export to PDF and Excel, and the public table opens from a QR code so competitors can read it on their phones on site.

A training log

Between matches an athlete records their own attempts and watches the trend on charts.

Schedule and registration

Competitors sign up themselves and the organiser sees the line-up squad by squad.

The result

Paper is gone from the range. Results reach competitors right after the stage instead of the next day, and nobody recalculates them by hand any more.
